We start with the clean lines, the timeless elements that will last a lifetime. We are a big fan of neutrals, and natural textures.

ABOUT THE LINES

We add the edge, the pops of color and design features that complete the space and make it truly yours. This can be done with art, woodwork, tile and much more.

ABOUT THE EDGE

MEET THE TEAM

  • Julie is the visionary behind Edge and Lines Design studio. She loves the design process, and has a passion for creating balanced spaced with just enough of the unexpected. She loves playing with textures, and working with a color pallet found in nature. She is inspired by both old Florida and Palms Springs California. Her designs have a coastal casual feel, with sprinkles of mid-century modern and punk rock elements. Julie treats every client and every project as a new beginning. “Each design is a compilation of the vibes of the site, the clients wants and needs, and my interpretation of what the space should be”, says Julie. You can also find Julie at their boutique hotel, The Hotel Palms, in Atlantic Beach Florida.

  • Greg is a business major. He has a drive like no other, and a passion for fundamentals / he also enjoys constant learning and growth. “ Design is so much fun, i get to add layers and push Julie to add edge to our projects”, says Greg. At his core Greg is an art enthusiast. He is responsible for almost all of the art and mural selections on each project. Another one of Gregs strengths is relationship building. He genuinely cares for our clients, and you will see it in his attention to detail in meetings and responsiveness. You can also find greg managing their asset and flagship hotel, The Hotel Palms.

SERVICES

  • New builds, also called new construction. Essentially these are homes that are designed from the ground up. Our New build services include designing the entire interior of your home; from space planning where the walls should be and the flow of your home, to finish selection, to decorating. We know the importance of working with the architect to ensure the synergy of the architecture and and the interior space, to us this is at the heart of good design.

  • It is important to have an Interior Designer on board early when considering adding on to your home or tackling a major renovation. A poorly designed addition or renovation can actually devalue your home. We are able to add value by focusing on the flow and circulation of your home, and keeping a connection to natural light and the outdoors. For additions, our design process focuses on not only adding the additional square footage you may need, but using that addition to connect to the outdoors, highlight views, and improve the curb appeal or appearance while maintaining a functional interior flow and access to natural light. However, adding more square footage isn’t always the answer. A new functionality and invigorating space can be created within your current home with a bit of reinvestment and design savvy. So, if you are looking to stay in the home where you have made memories with friends and loved ones, and your favorite coffee shop is just down the street, we've got you.

  • Commercial Spaces are very complex, and we enjoy the challenge. We have to keep in mind the client and what they are trying to convey, the brand and what its core values are, and the best space planning and circulation for this type of small business. A poorly designed space can be detrimental to any small business. Your customer or client is going to walk into your space and remember how it made them feel. They might not analyze all the small details we would as the designers, but how these details come together has an effect on your customer, and your brand.
